Mr. Max Steinmetz was born in Romania. From 1941, at the age of 17 until 1945 when he was liberated by Allied Forces, he was forced into ghettos, incarcerated at Auschwitz, imprisoned at Birkenau and Dachau, and escaped from the German death march, seeking refuge in a farm house.
This program is a part of Central's Brown Bag Lunch Program. The programs are held at 12:00 p.m. in the 3rd floor Arrington Auditorium of the Linn-Henley Building. The library provides beverages. For additional information call (205) 226-3604
