Brown Bag Program ~ A Birmingham Lawman Remembers the Civil Rights Era

virgil wareVirgil Ware, age 13, shot at random as he rode on the handlebars of his brother's bike by a white teenager on the same day as the infamous Sixteenth Street Baptist Church bombing .

Dan Jordan, a retired Captain with the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department, will share his memories of Martin Luther King Jr. and the investigation into the murder of 13-year-old Virgil Ware. Wednesday, January 21, noon.
