Mother's Day Craft at Titusville Library

by Amanda Jenkins, Titusville Branch Library

Are you ready for Mother's Day? The Titusville Branch Library assisted members of the community in celebrating this upcoming holiday by offering a Mother's Day-themed arts and crafts program on May 8. Participants created flower pots using Mason jars, miracle grow, pebbles, and an assortment of flower seeds. They expressed their artistic sides by painting the exterior of the jars, and in about one week, their morning glories, petunias, and pansies will be in full bloom!

Patrons were also provided with instructions on proper care for their new plants. We hope to educate and inspire some budding gardeners! The Titusville Library's adult craft program is led by Shronda Major, and typically meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 10:00 a.m. For additional information regarding our programs, call the library at 205-322-1140 or visit the BPL events calendar.
