The Federation of Genealogical Societies is bringing their 2012 national conference to Birmingham from August 29-September 1, 2012. This year's theme is "Indians, Squatters, Settlers and Soldiers in the 'Old Southwest'" and is hosted by the Alabama Genealogical Society.
