Free! Waived! Now That We Have Your Attention, Read Below

Has your card made so many trips to the library that it's falling apart? It's been a faithful companion, but it's time to put it out of its misery. Through September all Jefferson County libraries will waive the $3 fee and replace your worn card for free. Have a wallet card and want a convenient keychain card? That's free, too. And if you don't have a card this is the time of year we encourage people to get one and make use of all the free services the library has to offer.

Don't forget that Library Card Sign-Up Month is held in conjunction with Food for Fines, a program that wipes out $1 in fines for every can of food donated. Maximum fines waived is $10 per library card and does not apply to lost or damaged items.
