Card holders get discount for Southern Women's Show

The Southern Women's Show will be in Birmingham on Thursday, Oct. 4, through Sunday, Oct. 7, at the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex (BJCC). Tickets at the door will be $10, however library card holders can get a $3 discount if they buy their tickets online. The event will be packed with information on food, health and beauty. There will also be fashion shows and celebrity guests. Teresa Giudice of Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” will speak on Saturday, Oct. 6, at 1 p.m.
