Monica King Slater, an independent recording artist and songwriter of Cream With Your Coffee,  will be the next featured artist as Jazzie K Ward presents "Jazzie After Dark Artist Talk" via Facebook Live at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, February 13, 2023. 

By day, Monica King Slater is a library assistant of nearly 20 years at the Central Library downtown. Outside the library, she is an actress and a singer whose accolades gained her the moniker as BPL's songbird. 

 The show is also featured on YouTube Channel (KWARD RADIO), SoulTV Network and the KWard Radio Facebook page

 Artist Talk with Jazzie K. Ward is an hour-long conversation highlighting or showcasing the musical accomplishments of well-known artists, new and independent artists. During the segment, various questions about the artist's background, craft, upcoming appearances (virtual or live), and products (i.e. music, books, etc.) are discussed and a performance by the artist is always welcomed.
