In salute to Black History Month, the Central Library will present a jazz program on February 12, 6:00 p.m., at the Central Library. Join us for a discussion of the origins of jazz and a selection of brief profiles of Alabama jazz greats. The lively presentation will include visuals and sound. The Destinations portion of the program will point guests to opportunities to visit jazz venues throughout the Southeast. Related materials will be made available for browsing and checkout.
