Teens Engineer BHM is an ongoing program that focuses on middle and high school students with an interest in math and science. The program is a partnership between the Birmingham Public Library and the UAB School of Engineering. In 2017 BPL received a $95,000 two-year grant from the Community Foundation of Greater Birmingham to expand the engineering program to other libraries across the City of Birmingham.
