BPL Library Giving Day April 7 To Include Food Trucks, Friends Bookstore Sale at Central Library

Please join us as we celebrate #LibraryGivingDay by taking your pick from 12 different delicious food trucks offering lunch and snacks this Wednesday, April 7, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Central Library parking lot, 2100 Park Place in downtown Birmingham.

Take advantage of a "grab a bag" sale that includes books on a variety of topics that will be available that day as well. Come visit our 18 locations as the doors of the Birmingham Public Library are now open. 

The food trucks and Friends of BPL Bookstore sale are a part of the Birmingham Public Library's participation in Library Giving Day Your community support is so important as April 7 is #LibraryGivingDay, a campaign event to encourage people to donate to libraries across the country.  

Any donation amount is appreciated. Please consider a donation of $135 to honor the 135 years the Birmingham Public Library has served the City of Birmingham. Through your ongoing support, you will help BPL continue to provide programs, services, and much more.  

In addition to donating to BPL on our website and the Friends of the  Birmingham Public library website, participate in this important event. 

 Proceeds will benefit library programming, databases and new materials at BPL's 18 locations.
