Titusville Branch: A December to Remember – Community Programs and Festivities

 

Holiday programs are taking place all December long at Titusville Library

As the holiday season approaches, the Titusville Branch Library is gearing up to spread warmth and cheer throughout the Birmingham community. Throughout the month of December, the library is hosting a variety of programs aimed at providing quality services and creating a sense of togetherness among patrons. These programs are among 86 Holiday Happenings at BPL this month.

 Here's a sneak peek at the exciting events lined up at Titusville Branch:

1. Titusville Branch Diaper Resource Day Date & Time: Tuesday, December 5 | 10:00–11:00 a.m.

Patrons in the community are invited to the Diaper Resource Day, where they will receive free diapers and wipes. This event is in collaboration with the Exchange Club of Alabama, offering education and support to parents.

2. Safety Tips with SAFE Kids Alabama Tuesday, December 5 | 10:00–11:00 a.m. 

Collaborating with SAFE Kids Alabama at Children's of Alabama, the library will provide safety tips and incentives during Diaper Resource Day.

3. Grab and Go Hot Chocolate Bar Tuesday, December 5 – Thursday, December 7

Warm up with a cup of hot chocolate! Visit the library and enjoy our Grab and Go Hot Chocolate Bar. 

4. DIY Christmas Countdown Calendar Tuesday, December 5 | 3:30–4:30 p.m.

Get into the holiday spirit by creating your own Christmas Countdown Calendar. 

5. Coffee with Law Enforcement Wednesday, December 6 | 9:00–10:00 a.m. 

Join the Titusville Branch Library for Coffee with a Cop. Share a cup of coffee and a donut while discussing matters that are important to you. 

6. Titusville Library Senior Resource Day Wednesday, December 6 | 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. 

Senior participants can explore various vendors, resources, including medical consultations, food distribution, and utilities assistance. 

7. Titusville Branch Community Resource Day Thursday, December 7 | 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. 

Open to teens, adults, and seniors, this day offers interaction with vendors and food box giveaway’s providing essential services.

8. Make Your Own Ugly Sweater Friday, December 8 | 10:00–11:00 a.m., 3:30–4:30 p.m. 

Transform your plain sweater into a festive masterpiece. Embellishments are provided! 

9. Let's Make Snowflakes Tuesday, December 12 | 3:30–4:30 p.m.

Join us for a creative session making beautiful snowflakes at the Titusville Branch Library.

10. T’was a Murder Mystery Wednesday, December 13 | 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. 

Solve a thrilling murder mystery and have some fun in the process!

11. Adult Book Club Wednesday, December 13 | 1:30–2:30 p.m. 

Adults, catch up on your favorite reads and engage in lively book discussions. 

12. Golden Conversations Book Club Wednesday, December 13 | 1:00–2:00 p.m. 

Seniors are invited to participate in thoughtful discussions about monthly readings. 

13. Titusville Branch Holiday Party Friday, December 15 | 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

Spread holiday cheer at the Titusville Branch Library's festive holiday party for all. 

14. DIY Christmas Cards Tuesday, December 19 | 3:30–4:30 p.m. 

Express your holiday spirit by crafting personalized Christmas cards for your loved ones.

15. Christmas Movie Marathon Wednesday, December 20 – Thursday, December 21 | 3:00–5:00 p.m.
