Learn Languages By Watching Films With Mango Movies
The Birmingham Public Library (BPL) offers Mango Languages products to its patrons, but did you know their language databases include movies too? Mango Movies offers a small but engaging collection of movie with some including public performance rights!
Mango is the first and only language and culture learning system that teaches through film, making learning a language more fun. Users across North American master new languages through their interactive feature films.
Mango Movies contain authentic language and culture content presented through a selection of world films that provide a breakdown of each line of dialogue and builds on foundational language skills, like grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and cultural knowledge. This database is great for those who enjoy learning through watching T.V. and movies or listening to music. The movies have content settings that you can select from when creating an account for your child. We have movies that are suitable for all ages, 8+, 13+, and 18+. Parental discretion is advised regardless of the suggest age range.
