BPL 2024 Local Authors Expo: Meet Joe Compton
Meet Joe Compton, author of "SOULSMANSHIP" |
This year's theme is "AI (Artificial Intelligence) and Publishing."
Joseph E. Compton, Jr. marks his first foray into publishing with the release of SOULSMANSHIP (published by WestBow Press), an uplifting guide designed to inspire a new generation of
Christians to become skilled soul winners.
In this book, Compton introduces a unique approach to evangelism, drawing parallels between the art of
salesmanship and the intentional process of sharing Christ with others. Here, provides a comprehensive training
manual that equips readers with the tools and biblical insights needed to create intentional gospel conversations
and share their faith with others. The book covers a range of topics, including the importance of evangelism,
common barriers to sharing the Gospel, and the distinction between salesmanship and soulsmanship.
Compton
also offers practical advice on how to memorize key scriptures using a simple technique, making it easier for
readers to incorporate the process of soulsmanship into their daily lives.
“The world today is more un-Godly than ever in my life. People need to hear the good news of the gospel for hope
and salvation,” the author states.
“SOULSMANSHIP” is an invaluable resource for anyone looking to deepen their faith and grow in their spiritual
journey. It is Compton’s hope that readers will take away a sense of confidence and purpose in sharing the Gospel,
knowing that it is their responsibility to plant the seed, tend to it, and trust God to bring forth the harvest.
