Classic Cocktails 2026 is officially sold out!

That's great news for Birmingham Public Library...and a testament to the community's enthusiasm for an event that brings together Magic City Classic fans, HBCU supporters, library advocates and friends of BPL.

But you don't have to attend Classic Cocktails to support the Birmingham Public Library. You can help keep these opportunities available to Birmingham by supporting the Friends Foundation of the Birmingham Public Library,  title sponsor of Classic Cocktails.

Classic Cocktails: A Party With a Purpose

The 5th Annual Classic Cocktails remains an important celebration of community support for Birmingham Public Library. The event takes place 5:30-9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2026, at the Central Library, 2100 Park Place, as the kickoff party for Magic City Classic Week.

Classic Cocktails celebrates the annual football rivalry between Alabama A&M University and Alabama State University while bringing HBCU pride, Birmingham culture and support for the library together under one roof.
