Honoring the Legacy of 9/11
“As someone who lost my oldest brother, Army Major Dwayne
Williams, in the 9/11 terrorist attack on the Pentagon, I appreciate my
co-workers, East Lake Branch Manager Zachary Whitmire, and Titusville Branch
Manager Reba Williams-Patton, for hosting these programs reminding people to pay
tribute to those we have lost. Never forget,” said Roy Williams, Public
Relations Director of the Birmingham Public Library. “The East Lake Library
memorial altar box craft workshop will allow patrons who have lost loved ones
to create keepsake mementos honoring their memory. The Patriot Day craft
program at Titusville Branch will allow children and families to create crafts paying
tribute to those who died on 9/11.”
