Brown Bag Lunch—Palliative Care: A Whole Response to Medical Challenges
Palliative care is a specialty that provides comprehensive care for patients with advanced, life-threatening, or life-limiting illnesses. Designed to support patients and their loved ones, palliative care focuses on the relief of physical, social, emotional, and spiritual suffering. Jackie Palmore, Palliative Care Coordinator from the UAB Center for Palliative and Supportive Care, will present a program on this timely subject. Wednesday, September 29, noon.
