Over 30 Organizations Joining + Free Haircuts At Springville Road's 1st Children's Health & Information Fair, Saturday, August 5

Join Springville Road Regional Branch Library for their first annual Children's Health and Information Fair on Saturday, August 5, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.!

Local organizations will share information on various topics related to families, children, and wellness from birth to 18 years old. There will also be free eye exams, free haircuts, door prizes, and giveaways.

There are now over 30 organizations attending, providing more information on health and wellness, financial services, educational opportunities, and extracurriculars.

Children will be entertained by hula-hooping, line dancing, and special animal visitors from Ruffner Mountain!

Here are a few of the organizations joining us and what you can expect from them:

  • Randall's Grooming Lounge: A local barber shop with over 10 years of experience in the industry that offers services for makeup, skin, and more. They are offer free haircuts to attendees!
  • Exchange Club CAP Center: CAP will provide information on their seven diverse programs designed to Educate, Motivate, Inspire, and Empower participants to strengthen families and break the cycle of child abuse and neglect.
  • Morris Avenue EyeCare: Dr. Wells and her team will provide eye examinations for children. 
  • Ruffner Mountain: Come and visit some native Alabama animals and get information on their upcoming events. 
The Children's Health and Information Fair will be an annual event at Springville Road Library.
