North Avondale Branch Library offers Mindfulness Mondays and Storytime for their July All Together Now Summer Reading programs.

On Mondays, patrons can learn about social-emotional wellness and learn new skill sets to aid with emotional intelligence. Every Thursday is Storytime at North Avondale Library! New themes, stories, songs, and crafts are featured each week. 

All Ages Programs

Mindfulness Mondays
Mondays, June 5, 19 and July 3, 17 | Starts at 3:30 p.m.

Come to the library to learn about social-emotional wellness. Each week, we'll learn skills to cope with emotional regulation, self-awareness, self-control, and interpersonal skills. 

Youth Programs

Storytime
Thursdays, June 15, 22, 29 and July 6, 13, 20, 27 | Starts at 3:30 p.m.

The staff will be hosting a storytime every Thursday, featuring a variety of stories, songs, and crafts to suit a different theme each week.

You Matter!
Monday, June 26 | Starts at 10:00 a.m.

Join the Science Lady for an exciting and engaging exploration of the states of matter! This fizzing, bubbling, exploding show will be full of cool chemical reactions. All together now for some simple science fun! 

McWane Science Center Partners in Science 
Wednesday, June 28 | Starts at 10:00 a.m.

Science needs a lot of people working together to tackle everything from fighting pandemics to operating a space station. See how scientists have solved these problems with a little help from their friends. 

As a part of All Together Now, celebrating unity and kindness, signing up for summer reading this year also comes with up to $50.00 in overdue fines waived from your account! You can redeem this one-time amnesty throughout the summer reading schedule. Stop by any BPL library to register and receive the amnesty.
