Springville Road Regional Branch Library To Host Annual Children's Health And Information Fair, Saturday, August 5

The Springville Road Regional Branch Library will hold its first annual Children's Health and Information Fair on Saturday, August 5, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.!

The library will host local community organizations to share information on various topics related to families and children from birth to 18 years old. During the fair, there will be door prizes and giveaways. Children can also enjoy hula-hooping, line dancing, and more!

18 organizations are attending, providing more information on health and wellness, financial services, educational opportunities, and extracurriculars. Here are a few of the organizations joining us and what you can expect from them:

  • Exchange Club CAP Center: CAP will provide information on their seven diverse programs designed to Educate, Motivate, Inspire, and Empower participants to strengthen families and break the cycle of child abuse and neglect.
  • Morris Avenue EyeCare: Dr. Wells and her team will provide eye examinations for children. 
  • Ruffner Mountain: Come and visit some native Alabama animals and get information on their upcoming events. 

Springville Road Regional Library is located right down the street from Huffman High School.
