🧬 Explore the Newest Developments in DNA Testing
If you’ve been following the latest in genealogy, you know the field is changing fast. In this follow-up to our August 13 workshop, “2025 Genetic Genealogy News, Part 2,” we’ll cover updates we couldn’t get to the first time, including newly released products, major service upgrades, and even a recent change in company ownership within the last six months.
Learn how these developments impact consumers and get your questions answered during an interactive Q&A session.
👨‍🏫 Presented by Paul Boncella
Led by Paul Boncella, BPL’s map conservator and genetic genealogy specialist, this workshop will explain evolving tools, subscription costs, and new features from companies like AncestryDNA and 23andMe. Boncella will also address myths and clarify facts in DNA ancestry services.
“Your DNA test company's website might contain features and tools that you are not yet aware of,” Boncella says. “If you want to maximize your experience and unlock its full potential, let an expert help you make this happen.”
🎓 Free & Open to the Public
Attend in person or join virtually via Zoom.
💡 Note: This is Part 2 of a workshop series. Part 1 was held August 13, 2025, and covered other developments in genetic genealogy.
