Alabama Symphony Orchestra 2009-2010

The Alabama Symphony Orchestra will open the 2009-2010 Regions Masterworks Series this weekend, September 18-19. The first concert "Brown Plays Beethoven" features conductor Justin Brown on piano for Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 1. The ASO will also perform Paul Lansky’s Line and Shadow and Brahms Symphony No. 2. During the season, visit the library’s subject guide for the 2009-2010 Masterworks Series to find CDs of music to be performed by the Orchestra.
