Central Library’s Free May Computer Class Schedule

Are you ready to improve your computer knowledge and take your skills to the next level?  Register for the Central Library's free computer classes offered this May all month long!

The classes kick off today, Monday, May 9, with a Basic PC class taking place from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m., followed by a Keyboarding class from 4:15 to 5:15 p.m.

Get up to speed on everything Microsoft Word has to offer with our Word 2010 Basics and Advanced classes. These courses will introduce you to creating and editing your own documents and demonstrate more advanced skills like adding images, tables, headers, and footers.

Are you a business owner looking to get a leg-up on your competition? Our Reference Solutions for Business Research class will showcase this BPL database's business research capabilities and give attendees a rundown of how to locate your customers, your competition, and various job listings.

You can register for free classes on the BPL website or in person at the Computer Commons located on the 1st floor of BPL's Central Library, 2100 Park Place. The classes currently offered at BPL are available for viewing on the RLCC website.

If you have any questions or if you want to suggest a class that you don't see offered, you can give us a call at (205) 226-3696.
