Avondale Regional Library

Gingerbread House Family Night

Sugar, spice, and everything nice! Kids and families are invited for hands-on gingerbread fun. Space is limited; registration required.

Central Library

Winter Open House

Join us for a magical afternoon filled with live musical performances, creative crafts, and complimentary refreshments, including hot cocoa and eggnog.

Getting the Most from a DNA Ancestry Test Kit

Did you get an Ancestry DNA kit for Christmas? Learn how to interpret and make the most of your results in this class led by Paul Boncella of BPL’s Southern History Department.

East Ensley Branch Library

It's Christmas All Day
🕚 10 AM–5:30 PM | Friday, December 19

Join us for a seasonal open house. Preschool and toddlers will start the day with storytime and pancakes. Adults will follow up with games, karaoke and crafts. Teens will usher in the holiday spirit playing games and fellowshipping with friends.

Five Points West Regional Library

Annual Holiday Open House

Thankful Thoughts

Patrons are invited to write what they are thankful for during the holiday season on 1 by 4 inch pieces of paper. The Thankful Thought papers will be hung on North Avondale Library's seasonal tree.

Powderly Branch Library

DIY Sparkle & Flurries Chillin’ Creations

Warm up indoors with a cozy winter craft. In Sparkles & Flurries Chillin' Creations, patrons will celebrate the charms of the season: hot cocoa in hand, snowflakes on the windows, and a touch of sparkle inside.
