Need Help Growing Your Small Business? BPL’s Network Navigator Can Connect You to Local Resources

Starting or running a small business can be exciting—but knowing where to find the right resources, services and support can sometimes be a challenge.

That’s where the Birmingham Public Library’s new Network Navigator: Your Connection to Local Small Business Resources series can help.

Beginning Tuesday, September 15, BPL will offer a series of free programs designed to help entrepreneurs and small business owners discover and effectively use the Network Navigator online database.

The series will be led by Naila Jackson, a Birmingham-based entrepreneurial advocate, who will demonstrate how Network Navigator can help connect business owners with valuable local resources, services and support.

Whether you’re thinking about starting a business, already operating one or looking for resources to help take your business to the next level, this program is designed to help you navigate the local business landscape.

Each session will cover the same material, but participants are welcome to attend multiple sessions if they would like additional opportunities to learn and explore the resources.

And there’s another incentive to register early: lunch or dinner will be provided to the first 25 registered participants at each session.

Your next business resource may be closer than you think. And it may be waiting for you at the Birmingham Public Library.
