Get Ready for a Super Summer!

With Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 tearing it up at the box office and Wonder Woman and Spider-Man: Homecoming coming soon, the summer of 2017 is shaping up to be another super season of comic book movies.
In that spirit, the Avondale Regional Branch Library is hosting its 5th Annual Super Summer Comic Book-to-Film Series, a seven-week series of some of the best comic book movies from recent years. The series runs from Sunday, June 4, until Sunday, July 16, with a different film screening every Sunday at 2:30 p.m. We also have the library’s collection of graphic novels and comic books available for check out and a great selection of comic book coloring pages for adults. Popcorn will be provided; capes are optional. Call 226-4000 and visit the BPL events calendar for more information.
