2019 BPL Summer Learning: Learn About Life of a Ballet Dancer @Dance Discovery

Have you ever wondered what it is like to become a professional ballet dancer?

Then take advantage of the unique opportunity to meet some of Birmingham's most talented young ballet dancers up close this summer during the Birmingham Public Library's Dance Discovery Program. It is among more than 400 free activities for kids, teens and adults being offered as part of BPL's 2019 Summer Learning programs.

Join us at nine BPL locations across Birmingham during June and July as performers from the Alabama Ballet Company present an up-close look into the daily life of a professional ballet dancer. You will get to hear them talk about their regular routines, see their moves in action, see their costumes, pointe shoes and more.
