Beyond Books June 30-July 3: Learn to Crochet at BPL

Every week, all 17 Birmingham Public Library locations host engaging activities and programs for patrons of all ages — proving we’re about so much more than books! This week, we shine the spotlight on crochet classes.

Interested in crocheting?
Three of our libraries - West End, North Birmingham and Smithfield - offer welcoming, beginner‑friendly crochet classes or meet-ups for experienced crocheters for adults and seniors every week. It’s a great way to meet fellow crafters, pick up new skills, and get inspired by fresh ideas and patterns. Several of our other libraries also offer crochet classes throughout the year.
