April is Financial Literacy Month, and the Springville Road Regional Branch Library has two great workshops to empower you to take charge of your finances and achieve your financial goals. Join us for our fist workshop on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at the Springville Road Library.
Buying a home is a major part of the American Dream and is one of the most important decisions an individual or family can make. Homeownership education is a critical step in becoming an informed buyer and avoiding the pitfalls of the home-buying process. Judy Woods of Operation Hope will be the speaker. This workshop is free and will take place on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at the Springville Road Library. The Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated© Alpha Beta Xi Omega Chapter is hosting a Financial Literacy Seminar in which attendees will learn how to adequately manage personal finances during normal times and times of uncertainty. She is the founder and CEO of Xaris Financial Enterprises. With a Doctorate and an MBA, she is an entrepreneur, university professor, and Certified Financial Education Instructor (CFEI) who draws extensively on 25+ years of finance experience to bring both academic rigor and real-world financial background to every engagement. Dr. Brown excels at bringing complicated material to life so that anyone can conquer their doubts and take command of their financial future and has appeared on national, international, and local television and financial podcasts, radio shows, and various other traditional and digital media outlets.
