Holiday Grab N Go- Th Garland: Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa
This year, the festive holidays - Hanukkah, Christmas and Kwanzaa - will be celebrated throughout the week of December 23, 2024 through January 1, 2025. What an awesome opportunity this is for families from different cultures to learn more about these holidays and celebrate them as well.
The Southside Branch Library is providing Grab n Go kits to spark your creativity, arouse your curiosity, and add some little holiday decorations for your home or as gifts for others.
Here are our Grab N Go kits:
Hanukkah Gnome Garland
Create these fun little gnomes to string together and add smiles during the Hanukkah festivities. This is a fun craft for the family to do together. Add this craft to the fun and fellowship during this joyous occasion.
Christmas Tree Garland
Create these festive Christmas trees to string together and make a colorful garland to hang on the tree or hang throughout your home. Share them with family and friends to add a special touch to their homes. Another fun craft for kids to create and let their imaginations run free.
Kwanzaa Garland
Adorn your home with hand-crafted decorations symbolizing Kwanzaa. Kids will create the 7 symbols and principles of Kwanzaa an string them together to create a garland. Creating this garland will allow the family to learn the meaning of Kwanzaa and to celebrate the weeklong holiday.
