You may remember Auntie Litter from local Earth Day parades or a classroom program. See her at the BPL this Saturday, April 23, for an Earth Day Celebration!
Bring your children and join us in the Youth Department at the Central Library to learn more about earth stewardship and what you can do!
Auntie Litter will perform some of her best-known songs at the Earth Day Celebration. Sing along to Auntie Litter's classics, like "Recycle Rap," "Leaf Us Alone," and "Life Is A Breath Of Fresh Air."
Auntie Litter is the author of Auntie Litter: Evan's Earth Day Experience. After the event, she will be signing copies of her book. She even donated a copy of this book to each BPL location!
She has activities planned and handouts to take home, so you can continue to celebrate and help the Earth throughout the year. Check out our other blog on zero waste programs for more at-home activities you can do.
