Titusville Library to Host Community Resource Days August 2-4

 

The Titusville Branch Library Community Resource Days continue to expand. 

Titusville Branch, #2 6th Avenue SW, is kicking off its August monthly celebration of Titusville Branch Resource Days on Tuesday, August 2, by hosting the Titusville Branch Community Back to School Resource Day. Students who attend will receive school clothes, supplies, and hygiene products. Students will also get a chance to win free laptops. Advanced registration is required.   

Also on Tuesday, August 2, Titusville Branch is hosting its monthly diaper give-away in collaboration with Bundles of Hope, a diaper bank serving metro Birmingham.

On Wednesday, August 3, Titusville Library will host its monthly Titusville Community Senior Resource Day, celebrating senior citizens aged 55 and older in the surrounding neighborhoods.

On Thursday, August 4, Titusville Library will host its monthly Community Food Giveaway, distributing free food boxes, produce, diapers, and women's personal hygiene products.

• Titusville Branch Community Resource Diaper Giveaway,  Tuesday, August 2, 2022 @ 10:00-11:30 a.m.

 This program is to offer hope to families during times of financial hardship by providing their infants and toddlers with diapers. Registration is mandatory.  • Titusville Branch Community Back to School Resource Day, Tuesday,  August 2, 2022 @ 3:00-5:00 p.m.

Registration is mandatory. For registration, please call 322-1140. This program is to ensure students receive all the essential supplies needed as students return to school. By providing the Back-to-School Resource Day it will give students exactly what is needed for the classrooms this fall.

 • Titusville Branch Community Senior Resource Day, Wednesday, August 3, 2022 @ 10:00 a.m.

Registration is mandatory. This program is held every first Wednesday of the month, Titusville Branch Community Senior Day is designed to give seniors aged 55 and older free groceries as well as encouragement, acceptance, assistance, and other library services to assist them in leading lives of independence and dignity. Seniors can shop at Titusville Library for a variety of free items.

This day is open to all the seniors in the community and surrounding areas. In addition to those services, the UAB Preventive Diabetes Class and Titusville Branch Adult Book Club will take place at 11 a.m. To register for food box give away, complete the form at this link http://form.jotform.com/211835961215152 or contact Titusville Library at (205) 322-1140.

 • Titusville Branch Community Resource Day, Thursday,  August 4, 2022 @ 10:00 A.M. 

Registration is Mandatory. This program for all families is held every first Thursday of the month at Titusville Library. The Titusville Community Resource Day and Community Food/Diaper Giveaway distributes free food boxes, produce boxes and diapers, and women's personal hygiene products to attendees.
