Free Classes This August At The Central Library

A flyer advertising various free computer classes and other classes and their dates and times happening at the Central Library this August.

It's time for back to school, and what better way to get into the spirit than our free computer classes here at the Central Library?

This month, we're offering Advanced Excel 2010 classes for those who have mastered the basics. Here participants will learn about Microsoft Excel's more advanced features, such as simple formulas, charts, sorting, and more.

For the armchair genealogists out there, our "Fifty is Nifty!" class is a must! Learn how you can use the 1950 Decennial Census in your genealogy research.

The back of the flyer describes the classes being offered at the Central Library this August.

You can register for free classes on the Birmingham Public Library (BPL) website or in person at the Computer Commons, located on the first floor of BPL's Central Library, 2100 Park Place.

The classes offered at BPL are available for viewing on the RLCC website.

If you have questions about our classes or suggestions for a class you don't see offered, call us at 205-226-3696 or email us at cenrtc@bpl.org.
