Want to Boost Your Computer Skills? Free Classes Available During March at the Central Library

Want to spring into the season with new computer skills?

Check out the free classes available all month long at the Central Library!

Our Microsoft Word 2010 Basics 1 & 2 classes will introduce patrons to this word processor so that they can create, edit, and print documents with ease.

New to the Internet? Our Basic Internet class will teach you how to surf the web and use search engines to find the information you need.

If you're looking to start fresh with a new career, check out our class on Ferguson's Career Guidance Center. This class will walk you through the basics of this database, where you can learn workplace skills, conduct your job search, and create a resume.

You can register for free classes on the BPL website or in person at the Computer Commons located on the 1st floor of BPL's Central Library, 2100 Park Place in downtown Birmingham.

If you have any questions or if you want to suggest a class that you don't see offered, you can give us a call at (205) 226-3696.

Check out our other classes on the Regional Library Computer Center (RLCC) website.
