Floral Crafts And Creations Among North Birmingham's Spring Programs
Flowers are blooming, the pollen is out in full force, and a bee buzzed aggressively past my ear. It’s official—spring is here! Bring the little ones by the North Birmingham branch to celebrate the changing of the seasons with our spring-themed programs!
Prepare to get crafty on Tuesdays in the youth department with our Flower Power and Clever Clover Grab & Go crafts starting on Tuesdays, March 7 and 14, respectively. Kids can get help making their crafts at the library with Ms. Lori or take them home to complete later. Craft kits are available while supplies last.
Young patrons can also have fun travelling through a variety of stories with Adventures in Storyland with Miss Pamela. Our storytimes are interactive and include both songs and crafts! The themes this month are Spring Fling on Wenesday, March 8, and What’s the Buzz? on Wednesday, March 22. Storytime starts at 10:30 a.m.
Did you know there are flowers that you can actually eat? Our program Eatable Creations is all about making edible art! Join us Mondya, March 27, at 10:00 a.m. to make your own delicious floral treat.
