Week Of Wheels, Spring Break At The Titusville Library, And More As A Part Of Spring Break At The BPL 2023

Springville Road Regional Branch Library's Week of Wheels is happening now! An automated garbage truck and cement mixer will be visiting today from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. This week of programing highlights different types of community helpers and the vehicles needed to perform their jobs. Each day highlights two community helpers, what they do, and how their vehicle helps them perform their job. It's the perfect family friendly program for young kids!.

Titusville Branch Library is collaborating with I Am Greatness to host Spring Break At The Library. Their library has weeklong activities planned for children—and it's all free! Today they are hosting the Titusville Youth Empowerment workshop from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Spring Break At The Library offers a variety of programs on and celebrations of creativity, empowerment, and culture.
Other BPL locations are also offering short, daily programs to enjoy, like:
- Five Points West Regional Branch Library is offering Craft Break, a daily Spring Break craft time from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- West End Branch Library is hosting a Dinosaur Scavenger Hunt all week long during business hours. Search the library for 10 facts about dinosaurs and return the completed checklist to the desk for a treat!
- Central Library is having a Sand Art Coloring program today, 3:45–4:45 p.m., for elementary and middle school students to color with sand.
Avondale Regional Branch Library, North Birmingham Regional Branch Library, and Smithfield Branch Library are still offering their weekly programs that also give you a chance to unwind.
On Wednesday, March 29, 2023, Avondale Library hosts Club Create from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. All adults are welcome to this program. Each week, they tackle a new craft project with instructions and materials provided. Come together and create something new!
North Birmingham Library offers Slide City every Wednesday for everyone to get active at the library with the electric slide. Join them for a dance party from 10:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
Smithfield Library has a variety of weekly programs for patrons to enjoy over Spring Break, like Anime-nia and Chill Mode. Anime-nia happens every Thursday from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. and screens all ages friendly animes for kids to watch. Chill Mode is a gaming program that happens on Fridays from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. Stop by their library and enjoy a game with the staff!
