Adventure Begins at Woodlawn Branch Library: 2024 Summer Reading Spotlight

2024 Summer Reading continues at the Birmingham Public Library. 

16 BPL locations across the city are hosting 256 combined Summer Reading programs for kids, teens, adults and senior citizens during June and July. The 2024 theme is "Adventure Begins at Your Library."

BPL is spotlighting each of our library's Summer Reading programs. Today's spotlight is on Woodlawn Branch Library, 5709 First Avenue North. Woodlawn is hosting three youth programs. The final one (Dynamic Education Adventure: Science Fun), takes place at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 28. See details provided by Gina White, a Library Assistant III at Woodlawn Branch.

 Join the Science Lady for some science fun. Adventures in Science is full of fizzing, bubbling, and explosive experiments. You'll be blown away by all of the super cool demonstrations. Have an adventure and join us for the shenanigans!
