Details: Instructor George Mauldin is teaching West End Library patrons of all ages how to do popular line dances such as the Cha-Cha, Electric Slide and Cupid Shuffle. No experience necessary.

Have you ever wanted to learn how to do popular line dances such as The Wobble, Cha-Cha, Electric Slide and Cupid Shuffle? Now is your chance to spruce up on your dance steps for free.

George Mauldin, who lives in the Heritage Towne Centre area of Birmingham, has resumed a popular series of weekly line dance classes he first began a year ago at the West End Branch Library.

Mauldin, 73, first gained a skill for dancing while growing up as a teenager in his hometown of Selma. He is now sharing his talents for patrons of all ages who desire to join the line dance craze or boost their moves on the dance floor.

Mauldin is owner of Birmingham’s GEM DJ Services and plays music for weekly line dance classes at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Birmingham.
