Single Moms in Need of Free Diapers, etc., Register for Mommy's Lounge Inspires Resource Day Tuesday, May 23, at West End Library

Single mothers: Are you in need of free diapers, wipes, baby items, clothing for women and children? Then register now for the Mommy's Lounge Inspires Resource Day event taking place next Tuesday, May 23, at 5:00 p.m. at West End Branch Library, 1348 Tuscaloosa Ave. SW. 

Shatoria Peavy founded Mommy’s Lounge Inspires in 2018 to give single mothers a space to network with other moms and re-energize. The group meets every 2nd and 3rd Tuesdays from 5:00-6:00 p.m. at West End Library. 

Next Tuesday, May 23, at 5:00 p.m., West End Library hosts the monthly Mommy's Lounge Resource Day. Single mothers who register in advance can pick up free personal hygiene items, baby items, diapers, wipes and clothing for women and children. 

 Mothers must pre-register for the event, held every 4th Tuesday at West End Library. This Friday, May 19, is the last day to register for next week's Mommy's Lounge Inspires Resource Day.

 See requirements below to be a part of Mommy's Lounge Inspires Resource Day:

 ✅ You must register on the Mommy's Lounge Inspires at its website, www.mommysloungeinspires.com to attend. Click on the Resource Day RSVP at bottom of page.

✅ You must have a valid photo ID of the single parent and birth certificate of EACH child.

 ✅You must be able to pick up items the same day and at the time given. NOTE: you will NOT be able to pick up if you don’t have the required documents.
