Birmingham Public Library Providing Free Summer Tutoring for 2nd & 3rd Graders

The Birmingham Public Library is providing free summer tutoring during June and July 2023 for 2nd and 3rd grade students. The enrichment program begins Monday, June 12, and ends Thursday, July 27, 2023. Program times are 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. in the Central Library Youth Department, 2nd Floor.
There are two registration options: Mondays & Wednesdays or Tuesdays & Thursdays. There will be no programs scheduled for the week of Monday, July 3 through Friday, July 7.
The subjects covered are Literacy & STEM.
Support for this free tutoring was provided by a $29,000 grant the Friends Foundation of BPL received last December from the Community Foundation of Greater Birmingham.
