Explore Birmingham's Most Haunted Places With The BPL Archives Department, Saturday, October 21

Come join the Birmingham Public Library Archives department on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. to journey into the haunted side of Birmingham. We will be discussing some of the strangest sightings taken from Birmingham history.

Are you brave enough to learn of the Hawe's Murder riots? Or delve into the vicious axe murders of the 1920s? Walk the ancient tombstones of Oak Hill Cemetery? Or journey through the Research Library's hallowed halls? If your answer is yes, then join Assistant Archivist Connor Marullo as he guides you on this dread-filled journey through the heart and spirit of Birmingham.

  • Details: No registration necessary! To get to the Arrington Auditorium, enter through Central Library, go up to the third floor, cross the skybridge and follow the hallway to the stairs or elevator, and go up one more floor.
