Punk is back at the library! The January show went viral thanks to the 300+ patrons who came out to the Birmingham Public Library's (BPL) first-ever punk show. 

Debuting now as Loud at the Library, three new bands are performing live at the Central Library this Friday, October 13, 2023, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

  • What: Loud at the Library 
  • When: Friday, October 13, 2023 | 6:30–8:30 p.m.
  • Where: Central Library | 2100 Park Place, Birmingham, AL 35203
  • Details: Loud at the Library is open to all-ages and free and open to the public. The fall lineup features Bulging, Confusion's Prince, and Fauxdeep. Bring earplugs if you'd like a pair.

Earlier this year, the BPL hosted their first punk show as a part of the Winter Music Series. The winter lineup featured B.O.R.N., Sugarplums, and Joyboy Loud at the Library is set to happen twice a year, one show in the fall and another in the spring. Expect to see another concert in the spring of 2024.
