Boo-K Bingo, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Friday, October 27 and Saturday, October 28
Scare up some fun during the spooky season with "Boo-K Bingo." Drop by Avondale to pick up a bingo card with a variety of spooky reading and related challenges. Everyone who "bingos" by Oct. 28 will be entered in a prize drawing to win one of 10 special commemorative editions of Kathryn Tucker Windham's book "13 Alabama Ghosts and Jeffrey!"
Wizard School Escape Room, Saturday, October 28, 10:00 – 11:30 a.m.
You have been accepted to the highly distinguished wizard school.
Participants in the Wizard School Escape Room will follow clues and solve puzzles to pass a sorcery screening test.

BOO to You!, Tuesday, October 31, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Boo to you, BOOks that is. Come dressed in your favorite non-scary costume and receive a special library BOOk treat, no tricking.

A Halloween Scavenger Hunt is being held during library hours every day through Tuesday, October 31, starting at 3:00 pm. Children will be able to look for Halloween-themed items and receive a treat afterward.
Halloween Party, Tuesday, October 31, 3:00 p.m.
Join us for our annual Halloween Party. Children will be able to watch a fun movie and have snacks and candy.
Grab n' Go: Fall Mystery craft kit with a Goodie to Go!, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Friday, October 27

Movies with the "Master of Suspense", Tuesday, October 31, 1:00-3:00 p.m.
Join us to watch films from the iconic and award-winning British director known as the "Master of Suspense", who crafted a methodical style of filmmaking with twist ending and violence that's still admired even today.

This fun Grab N' Go is great way for kids, and parents too, to create one-of-a-kind pumpkins to decorate for Halloween.
