West End Branch Library Polling For Best Pie + Free Cake & Pie Recipes

A white board is split between four boxes with the question written on top that says "Which is the better pie?" Each square has a type of pie assigned to it: pumpkin in the top left, sweet potato in the top right, bean pie in the bottom left, & the bottom right is apple pie.

We need to know...which is the better pie?

Stop by the West End Branch Library this month to say "hi" and check out some books. While you are there, vote for the pie you think is best.

You can also pick up a free recipe to make your own pie to enjoy during the holidays. Library Assistant Derek Smith is putting together a series of pie and cake recipes for you to try. The first one will be available the week of Monday, November 14. Then you can stop by each week until the end of the year to pick up a new recipe. 

The West End Library, located at 1348 Tuscaloosa Ave SW, is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
