The Birmingham Public Library Accepting Toy Donations For Urban League Toy Drive Until Friday, December 2

The Birmingham Public Library is accepting new and unwrapped toy donations for The Birmingham Urban League's Toy Drive!

To date, the City of Birmingham has had 126 homicides, leaving around 68—74 families affected with small children that will have to live without parents. The Urban League is assisting families affected by violence with a toy drive and a dinner reception.

Donations are accepted from now until Friday, December 2, during business hours from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Your can donate new and unwrapped toys in the decorated donation boxes found at the following BPL locations:

The Birmingham Urban League is a civil rights organization founded in 1967 by faith based, civic, and community leaders to address unmet needs of residents, and to self-reliance, parity, power, and civil rights.
