The Birmingham Public Library Accepting Toy Donations For Urban League Toy Drive Until Friday, December 2
The Birmingham Public Library is accepting new and unwrapped toy donations for The Birmingham Urban League's Toy Drive!
To date, the City of Birmingham has had 126 homicides, leaving around 68—74 families affected with small children that will have to live without parents. The Urban League is assisting families affected by violence with a toy drive and a dinner reception.
Donations are accepted from now until Friday, December 2, during business hours from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Your can donate new and unwrapped toys in the decorated donation boxes found at the following BPL locations:

- North Birmingham Regional Branch Library | 2501 31st Ave N, Birmingham, AL 35207
- Pratt City Branch Library | 509 Dugan Ave, Birmingham, AL 35214
- Southside Branch Library | 1814 11th Ave S, Birmingham, AL 35205
- Springville Road Regional Branch Library | 1224 Old Springville Rd, Birmingham, AL 35203
- West End Branch Library | 1348 Tuscaloosa Ave SW, Birmingham, AL 35211
